Service & Project Delivery Policy

Our Service Scope

Techpal is a remote-based company providing specialized software development, technical consulting, and managed support platforms to our clients. We ensure high-quality code, secure project environments, and timely technical support as defined in the client's Statement of Work (SOW) or Service Agreement.

  • Project Documentation: Delivery of comprehensive documentation (e.g., technical specifications, user manuals) as contracted.
  • Service Tiers: Services, support hours, and response times are determined by the agreed-upon Service Tier or contractual terms.
  • Technical Support: Dedicated support available via email/client portal with response goals outlined in your agreement (e.g., within 4-24 business hours).

Project Delivery & Access

Since Techpal delivers digital services and code, project delivery is typically handled through secure digital channels and is contingent upon successful payment milestones.

  • Code Delivery: Custom software and source code are delivered electronically via secure client repositories (e.g., private GitHub, GitLab) or SFTP access.
  • Project Milestones:Delivery occurs upon approval of completed milestones as defined in the SOW. Access is provided once the associated milestone payment is successfully received.
  • Consulting Reports:Technical reports and consulting documents are delivered electronically via email or secure client portal access.

Client Access & Credentials

To access collaborative tools and delivered code, clients must complete payment and adhere to security protocols.

  • Secure Payment: Complete payment for milestones or retainers through our secure invoicing gateway.
  • Access Provision:Credentials (e.g., repository access, staging server logins) are provisioned immediately upon successful payment of the required invoice.
  • Access Expiration:Access to collaborative platforms may be revoked after the project end date or if invoices are overdue. Contact support if access issues arise.
4.

Refunds & Service Credits

Payments for software development and consulting services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Service Issue: If the delivered solution contains significant defects or fails to meet the agreed-upon specifications in the SOW, contact your Project Manager or support within 30 days of delivery. We will assist by performing remedial work or issuing a service credit towards future development time.
  • Retainers:Cancellation of retainers is subject to a written notice period (e.g., 30 days), and unused time is managed according to the retainer agreement terms.
5.

Intellectual Property & Licensing

The ownership and right-to-use (licensing) of the developed software are explicitly defined in the Service Agreement.

  • Custom Code: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Techpal assigns the copyright of all custom-developed software to the Client upon final payment.
  • Techpal Tools:Any pre-existing Techpal proprietary frameworks or libraries used in the solution remain the property of Techpal but are typically licensed to the client for use within the delivered product.
  • Unauthorized Use:Unauthorized redistribution or use of Techpal's proprietary tools is prohibited.
